Withmy previous 156 I never had any problems with the lcd. I had one of the last 156's made (facelift, diesel) and it worked perfectly in the 3 1/2 years I had it. The GTA has an oil temperature overview, that the diesel does not have, also the size of the whole unit is different. I am also curious if the replacement worked.
